Endeavour Energy Fuels – An 100% Australian owned and Operated Independent Family Business

Endeavour began nearly 30 years ago, when founder Jeff Griffiths decided to leave the world of corporate petroleum and begin a family business.

Whilst retaining respect for the company that had started his career, Jeff felt there was a gap between what large fuel corporations offered and what consumers wanted. Jeff founded a business, that aimed to answer customers’ needs rather than prescribe them.

The Endeavour Mission

Endeavour began with a simple mission: to deliver quality fuel to customers in the most efficient, most pleasant, most hassle-free way possible.

The type of fuel is almost unimportant, other than it needs to be what is most useful to the customer. This is why many Endeavour fuel sites carry a range of fuels for vehicles, Duck Over food services for travellers and locals, and even stock feed. The fuels on offer may evolve with the needs of our customers to include emerging fuels like electricity and hydrogen, but Endeavour’s philosophy will remain the same.

Environment & Sustainability

At Endeavour, we take a proactive approach to our environmental responsibility and role within the communities in which we operate.

Every aspect of our business is scrutinised on a regular, if not constant basis to find ways that improve our practices from an environmental standpoint. One of our key focuses is on fuel safety, which is our highest priority, both with regards to the people interacting with our business and concerning the responsible storage and treatment of fuel, including spills. Every effort is made to ensure that the environment isn’t adversely affected by our practices.

We also consider the future of fuel and are active participants in the move towards more sustainable fuels.

Our Business Structure and Culture

Of great importance to carrying out Endeavour’s mission are staff empowerment and minimum bureaucracy, though safety remains paramount in every situation.

Our teams at each site have the power to make decisions that suit the local area and customers, whether it be about menu items offered, reducing the fine print on account forms, or what products are sold at the pump or in the shop. This decentralised structure helps us stay true to our family business culture, with additional focus on using local food suppliers, supporting the local footy team and involvement in the local community.

Having empowered on-site staff means that customers can have their queries and requests dealt with quickly and directly, without staff having to wade through voluminous company policy. Generally speaking, if it is possible, financially and legally feasible and safe, Endeavour staff will try to accommodate any reasonable request. If they can’t, you’ll be given a sound reason for why not.

Our Sites and Service

Endeavour owns almost all of the property our fuel sites are built on and design each site individually to make sure they are easily accessible to customers, with maximised turning areas and height clearances where possible. All sites have good parking, clean facilities and offer quality, relevant services to our visitors.

Our customer-centric approach also applies to our fuel delivery services. Whether fuel is needed on an agricultural or industrial property, customers will speak to a member of Endeavour staff rather than an impersonal call centre, and our team will work to get you the fuel you need when you need it.
